The Ministry of Development and the departments under it held a Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil Ceremony for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit as well as Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The function was held at the Royal Mausoleum, 28th February afternoon.

The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development. The ceremony was part of the ministry's religious activities in conjunction with Ramadhan.
